KY Results Top WV for Clinton (2.00 / 1)

Clinton cracked 40% in Oregon, so I can't be all glum.

Re: KY & OR Exit Polls (none / 0)

Wow - she lost women in Oregon?

John McCain hates terrorists, except the ones that hate women. Those are just swell.

Re: KY & OR Exit Polls (none / 0)

Interesting results.  Edwards didn't have that much of an impact.

I'd really like to see Obama break 55 in Oregon.

One question - if Clinton got 49% and won the women vote, who got the other % to keep her under 50%?

Re: KY & OR Exit Polls (none / 0)

I have almost no confidence in exit polls conducted by phone. I understand that in a mail in system they are necessary, but I think I would just leave it alone.

Exit polls are delivered without any margin of error.  Why?
They're perfect.

edwards endorsement? (none / 0)

So if 51 % of those people who said Edwars endorsement was important went to Obama, it means that 49 % went to Clinton. Talk about positive effect?

Re: edwards endorsement? (none / 0)

Good point.  Although are the people saying yes saying "yes, it was important to how I voted" or a more general "yes, it was important to the campaign."  If the latter, I could see a lot of Clinton supporters saying yes, it was important in terms of the campaign, but not to them.

If the former---which still seems more likely---its a bit of a quandry.  There's only 3 possible options I see (could be a mix)

1. Clinton backers believe Edwards endorsement was important, have a neutral to positive opinion of him, but it wasn't enough to change their vote

  1. Clinton backers believe Edwards endorsed Clinton
  2. Lots of people are specifically going against Obama b/c Edwards endorsed him.

My guess is that #1 is the most important factor, followed by #2 and only a few folks falling into #3.  But I could definitely be wrong, or could have missed another interpretation.

Why don't Hillary supporters listen to her? (none / 0)

When she urges them to vote for the Democrat? Why can't she lead them?
